Abstract: Increased mobility and pressure in daily life can nourish the desire for products that contain all the substances to feel healthy, fit and productive. It is easy to modify an existing habit than to create a new one. Preferred embodiments of the present invention provide a completely natural, natural tasting, refreshing beverage which is a caffeine free, coffee taste beverage which can be added to Milk products.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to food industry and beverage, more specifically to composition of De caffeinated Natural Instant Beverage. That enhances the potency of human health retention and promotion as compared with those of conventional nutritional drinks.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently Coffee and Caffeine based products are available in the market.
US 20160324776; 14706736; HDDC Holdings, LLC discloses a caffeinated drink with cannabinoids, wherein the drink retains its original taste and appearance. This application also discloses coffee powder with cannabinoids, roasted coffee beans with cannabinoids, and loose tea leaf with cannabinoids. Methods to the make and use of the above caffeinated drinks, coffee powder, coffee beans, and loose tea leaf are also disclosed.
WO/2016/175113; PCT/JP2016/062583; SUNTORY BEVERAGE & FOOD LIMITED discloses a caffeinated carbonated drink with improved carbonation sensation. The present invention provides a carbonated drink containing caffeine and potassium, wherein the carbonated drink contains, per 100 ml of the carbonated drink, 10 mg to 40 mg of caffeine and 6 mg to 50 mg of potassium.
EP 3087844; 16165532; GRUPPO CIMBALI SPA discloses a method for preparing coffee-based drinks having different organoleptic characteristics from one same coffee mixture. The method comprises the formation of a panel (1) of ground coffee with different granule size distributed according to the thickness (S) of the panel, in a filter-holder (2). Said panel consists of a total amount (Q) of ground coffee corresponding to a predetermined dose of the drink to be prepared by dispensing in succession a plurality of amounts of ground coffee (Qa, Qb, Qc) each corresponding to a respective portion of the total amount (Q) of the panel (1) and each equipped with a respective predetermined granule size, from at least one grinding device and coffee doser (3) in a filter-holder.
US 20160302437; 15189621; Koninklijke Douwe Egberts B.V. discloses a novel instant coffee comprising aromatized soluble particles and a method of aromatizing soluble coffee particles. The soluble coffee particles are mixed with roast whole beans, and the mixture is held for at least two days. The result is aromatized soluble coffee particles, as evidenced by the presence of relatively high amounts of 2-methylpyrazine in instant coffee comprising said particles. The instant coffee has a favorable content in aroma components, yet with a low oil content.
US 20160295876; 14654822, KRAFT FOOFS R & D, INC.; discloses a process for the manufacture of a roast and ground coffee powder, the process comprising the steps of: mixing roast and ground coffee with additional coffee oil; and roller-grinding the mixture to a roast and ground coffee particle size having a D90 of 80 microns or less.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. The present invention provides a simple and low cost method of preparation of composition of De caffeinated Natural Instant Beverage, which can be easily scaled up, for the mass production in industry.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Increased mobility and pressure in daily life can nourish the desire for products that contain all the substances to feel healthy, fit and productive. It is easy to modify an existing habit than to create a new one. Preferred embodiments of the present invention provide a completely natural, natural tasting, refreshing beverage which is a caffeine free, coffee taste beverage which can be added to Milk products.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The food we eat, the beverages we drink and the nutrients we consume have a direct link to the culture, customs and belief we have inherited over the millennia. The food and drinking habits of people vary from place to place and is largely influenced by ambient biological wealth and environment and also by weather and climatic conditions. Consumer’s lives have become increasingly busy and fast-paced, spawning an on-the-go culture. This has created a strong demand for refreshment in a variety of out-of-home locations thus driving soft drinks, which are more accessible and convenient than other drinks such as hot drinks and alcohol. Soft drinks are non-alcoholic water based flavored drinks that are optionally sweetened, acidulated and carbonated. Some carbonated soft drinks also contain caffeine, mainly the brown-coloured cola drinks. Soft drinks are popular because people like their taste. A can of Coke (12 ounces or 355 ml) has 39 grams of carbohydrates (all from sugar, approximately 10 teaspoons), 50 mg of sodium, 46 gm caffeine, 0 grams fat, 0 grams potassium and 140 calories.
Consumption of refined sugar in soft drinks has gained world-wide attention because of its possible adverse effects like cancer, obesity, dyslipidemia, heart diseases, diabetes mellitus and dental caries, insomnia, behavioral problems and allergic reactions. The evidence linking soft drink consumption to weight gain and obesity is sufficiently strong to take action. But powerful advertising, universal availability, low price, and the use of a mildly addictive ingredient (caffeine) are other factors that have made soft drinks a routine snack and a standard component of meals instead of the occasional treat they were considered several decades ago.
Beverages are unusual products in that everyone expects to try new varieties. While all segments of the beverage market are evolving, the growth seems to be directed more towards healthy, light and low-calorie drinks, in particular organic and fruit juice varieties. The health factor has been particularly important in driving product innovation. Health drinks have become a new buzzword for the health conscious consumers. Health is the level of functional and metabolic activity of an organism at both the micro (cellular) & macro (social) level. In the medical field, health is commonly defined as an organism’s ability to efficiently respond to challenges (stresses) and effectively restore and sustain a state of balance known as homeostasis.
After 18 lab trials we invented a caffiene free drink with zero cholestoral, 0% fat, 0% trans fat and 0% sodium with the below combination of ingredients. It can be added to hot water or hot milk and it does not change its color or properties and tastes like coffee.
The main ingredients are Chicory, Barley, Malt and Beet Root. Further, the Nutritional Facts of the said beverage are as follow: 1 tsp (2gm) having Calories : 5, Total fat 0%, Trans fat 0%, Sodium 0% and Total Carb 1 g.
Provided is a beverage which has a good balance among sweetness bitterness and other unpleasant taste at both a liquid temperature of 10°C or lower which is a liquid temperature during cold storage and a liquid temperature of around ambient temperature (e.g. 20-30°C) which is a liquid temperature at which the beverage is to be drunk.
CLAIMS:
1. A decaffeinated Natural Beverage comprises of Chicory, Barley, Malt and Beet Root.
2. The Beverage as claimed in claim 1, wherein Nutritional Facts of the said 1 tsp (2gm) beverage are comprises of Calories: 5, Total fat 0%, Trans fat 0%, Sodium 0% and Total Carbohydrate 1 g.
3. The Beverage as claimed in claim 1, wherein Beverage after adding to hot water or hot milk retain its color or properties and tastes like coffee.
4. The Beverage as claimed in claim 1-3, wherein said Beverage is completely natural, natural tasting, refreshing beverage which is caffeine free, coffee taste beverage which can be added to Milk products.
