Abstract: The invention disclosed herein concerns a sucrose free, sorbitol containing health supplement composition having relatively low calorie content, method of manufacture and use thereof. The disclosed compositions additionally provide antioxidants, fiber and cholesterol reducing properties.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a diet supplement composition and, more particularly to low calorie composite diet supplement comprising sucrose.
BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
Sweetness is one of the primary taste cravings of both animals and humans. Thus, the utilization of sweetening agents in foods in order to satisfy this sensory desire is well established.
Artificial-sweetening compositions have been employed for imparting sweeteners to food, beverage, confectionery and other products, and more particularly artificial-sweetening agents and compositions have been used by persons affected by physiological disorders, such as diabetes mellitus, and by those persons who must restrict their caloric intake as part of a weight-control regimen. Artificial-sweetening agents are useful not only in food and beverages, but also are useful in certain oral and cosmetic compositions.
Certain people require low carbohydrate diets as a result of their metabolic sensitivity to carbohydrate. However, these people have difficulty maintaining the prescribed or recommended diet because of the taste characteristics and limited selection of low carbohydrate foods.
Therefore, it would be desirable to provide an natural sweetening composition with enhanced sweetening power, with good water solubility and with no or minimum menthol or bitter aftertaste effects at the concentration level employed. Further, it is desirable that this composition has a harmonious sweetness and which additionally
provides for nutritional and dietary wellness of the consumer, and to specify a process for the preparation thereof and use thereof.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In accordance with principles of the present invention, the present disclosure is directed towards product composition as specified in Table 1.

The invention is more easily comprehended by reference to the specific embodiments recited hereinabove which are representative of the invention. It must be understood, however, that the recited embodiments are provided for the purpose of illustration, and that the invention may be practiced otherwise than as specifically illustrated without departing from its spirit and scope. As will be realized, the present invention is capable of various other embodiments and that its
several components and related details are capable of various alterations, all without departing from the basic concept of the present invention. Accordingly, descriptions will be regarded as illustrative in nature and not as restrictive in any form whatsoever. Modifications and variations of the system and apparatus described herein will be obvious to those skilled in the art. Such modifications and variations are intended to come within the scope of the present invention.
