Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and system [100] of locking and unlocking a device. The present invention comprises of a display unit [110], a storage unit [120], a processor unit [130] and an execution unit [140]. The display unit [110] is configured to receive inputs from a user which is subsequently compared with a pre-stored input stored in the storage unit [120] by the processor unit [130]. Further, upon successful matching of the received inputs with the pre-stored input, the device is being locked/unlocked. FIGURE 1
