Abstract: The invention concerns methods and compositions that can be used for detecting cancer in mammals, particularly humans. The invention particularly concerns serum markers of cancers and their use in diagnostic procedures. The invention also concerns tools and/or kits that can be used for carrying out these methods (reagents, probes, primers, antibodies, chips, cells, etc.), the preparation thereof and their uses. The invention can be used for detecting the presence or the progression of a cancer in mammals, particularly breast cancer including during early stages.
