Method For Secretory Production Of Protein

Abstract: By developing a novel technique for enhancing the secretory production of a heterologous protein by a coryneform bacterium, provided is a method for the secretory production of a heterologous protein. A heterologous protein is secreted and produced by culturing a coryneform bacterium which is capable of secreting and producing the heterologous protein and has been modified so as to have a combination of two or more properties selected from (A), (B) and (C): (A) having lowered RegX3 protein activity compared to a non-modified strain; (B) having lowered HrrSA system activity compared to the non-modified strain; and (C) having lowered HrcA protein activity compared to the non-modified strain.
