We Claim:
1. An electric coupler [104] for mounting on a vehicle, the electric coupler
[104] comprising:
- an electric system [114]; and
- a coupler housing [116] adapted to at least partly house the electric system [114], wherein
the electric system [114] is electrically connected to an electric circuitry of a power transfer unit [102], and
the coupler housing [116] is attached to a charger housing [108], for mounting the electric coupler [104] on to the power transfer unit [102].
2. The electric coupler [104] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the electric circuitry of the power transfer unit [102] is further electrically connected to an energy storage unit of the vehicle.
3. The electric coupler [104] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the electric system [114] of the electric coupler [104] is electrically coupled to the electric circuitry of the power transfer unit [102], via a wire harness [122].
4. The electric coupler [104] as claimed in claim 2, wherein the electric system [114] includes a connection port [118] adapted to mate with a secondary electric coupler of an energy refilling device, for facilitating an electrical connection between the energy storage unit and the energy refilling device.
5. The electric coupler [104] as claimed in claim 4, wherein the connection port [118] includes at least one of a plurality of power transfer pins, a

plurality of data transfer pins, and a plurality of proximity detection pins, in order to facilitate one or more electrical functionality therebetween.
6. The electric coupler [104] of claim 1, wherein the charger housing [108] of the power transfer unit [102] and the coupler housing [116] of the electric coupler [104] is part of a single integrated housing unit.
7. An electric charging arrangement [100] for an energy storage unit of a vehicle, the electric charging arrangement [100] comprising:

- a power transfer unit [102] electrically connected to the energy storage unit;
- an electric coupler [104] being electrically connected to the power transfer unit [102] via a wire harness [122], wherein the electric coupler [104] is mounted on the power transfer unit [102].

8. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 7, wherein the power transfer unit [102] includes an electric circuitry electrically connected to the energy storage unit, and a charger housing [108].
9. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 8, wherein the electric coupler [104] includes an electric system [114] electrically connected to the power transfer unit [102] via the wire harness [122], and a coupler housing [116] attached to the charger housing [108] for mounting the electric coupler [104] to the charger housing [108].
10. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 9, wherein the electric system [114] of the electric coupler [104] includes a connection port [118] adapted to mate with a secondary electric coupler of an energy refilling device.

11. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 10, further includes a solenoid lock [106] mounted on the electric coupler [104], to magnetically lock the electric coupler [104] to the secondary electric coupler.
12. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 9, wherein the coupler housing [116] is attached to the charger housing [108], via a mounting bracket.
13. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 7, wherein the coupler housing [116] is one of fixedly or removably attached to the charger housing [108], for mounting the electric coupler [104] on the power transfer unit [102].
14. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 7, wherein the power transfer unit [102] is mounted on a support mount [112].
15. The electric charging arrangement [100] as claimed in claim 14, wherein the support mount [112] is mounted on a headstock [110] of the vehicle.
16. An electric coupler [104] for mounting on a vehicle, the electric coupler [104] comprising:

- an electric system [114]; and
- a coupler housing [116] adapted to at least partly house the electric system [114], wherein
the electric system [114] is electrically connected to an electric circuitry of a power transfer unit [102],
the electric system [114] including a connection port [118] with one of a plurality of power transfer pins, a plurality of data transfer pins, and a plurality of proximity detection pins, and

the coupler housing [116] is attached to a charger housing [108], for mounting the electric coupler [104] on to the power transfer unit [102].
