Suspension Culturing Additive, Suspension Culturing Medium And Suspension Culturing Method For Animal Cells

Abstract: The present invention relates to: an additive and a medium which are for the suspension culturing of animal cells and contain a water-soluble polymer; and a method for the suspension culturing of animal cells, the method comprising suspension-culturing the animal cells in a medium that contains a water-soluble polymer. According to the present invention, a suspension culturing additive, a suspension culturing medium and a suspension culturing method for animal cells can be provided, wherein, in the suspension culturing of animal cells, the extraction of medium ingredients such as insulin, caused by physical stimuli such as agitation, shaking, reflux and air ventilation, can be suppressed, and the culturing efficiency of animal cells and the quality of cultured cells can be improved.
