Abstract: A sweetener is disclosed which has zero caloric value and incorporates citrus fiber as bulking and gastric filling agent. Further disclosed is method of its manufacture.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to formulations of sugar substitutes and more particularly to such compositions fortified by antioxidants.
BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
In recent years, as eating habits have changed dramatically, excessive weight gain caused by the increasing amounts of sugar found in foods have resulted in health related problems. Accordingly, the development of a \ow-ca\ohe sweetener (sweetening agent) that replaces sugar has been strongly in demand.
Therefore, there is a need to develop a method whereby a sweetener composition is produced so that the composition has a homogeneous sweetness. Additionally, it is an object of the present invention to provide for fortifying such compositions with citrus fiber.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In accordance with principles of the present invention, the present disclosure is directed towards product composition as specified in Table 1.
