The present disclosure is generally related to turn indication lights of a vehicle and more particularly to system and method for auto turn on a turn indication of a vehicle.
BACKGROUND
Turn indicators are used in vehicles to signal intent of turning to a particular side of the road or an intersection. Generally, turn indicator systems utilize a physical button and a set of front and rear indicator lamps. Whenever driver of the vehicle intends to turn to a particular side, he can give an input through the button and the respective indicators of that particular side are switched on that flash synchronously to indicate a turn intent.
However, since the button is physical, the drivers sometimes forget to switch it on while intending to turn. This may cause a traffic hazard.
Therefore, there is a need of an effective way to turn indicators on during driving.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The invention provides a solution to effectively solve the problem as mentioned above. The invention provides a system for auto switching on of turn indicator lamps during driving. The system for auto turn on indication of a vehicle comprising a front part and a rear part, wherein the system comprises a plurality of left indicator lamps, communicably connected to the control unit, configured to be flashed synchronously, a plurality of right indicator lamps, communicably connected to the turn indication switch, configured to be flashed synchronously, a control unit, operably connected to the plurality of left indicator lamps and the plurality of right indicator lamps, a chassis connector, operably connected to the front part and the rear part of the vehicle, and a sensing arrangement placed on the chassis connector, communicably connected to the control unit, wherein the sensing unit is configured to sense change in a bending angle of the front part of the vehicle wherein when the bending angle of the front part is greater than a predefined threshold, the control unit switches on the turn indication.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0006] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in which like numerals represent like elements throughout the several figures, and in which example embodiments are shown. Embodiments of the claims may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. The examples set forth herein are non-limiting examples and are merely examples among other possible examples.
[0007] Some embodiments of this invention, illustrating all its features, will now be discussed in detail. The words “comprising,” “having,” “containing,” and “including,” and other forms thereof, are intended to be equivalent in meaning and be open ended in that an item or items following any one of these words is not meant to be an exhaustive listing of such item or items, or meant to be limited to only the listed item or items.
[0008] It must also be noted that as used herein and in the appended claims, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” include plural references unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Although any systems and methods similar or equivalent to those described herein can be used in the practice or testing of embodiments of the present invention, the preferred, systems and methods are now described.
[0009] FIG. 1 illustrates a line diagram of a system 100 for auto switching on of turn indication of a vehicle. The system 100 essentially includes a plurality of left indicator lamps 102A-102B, a plurality of right indicator lamps 104A-104B. The system 100, further includes a plurality of switching modules 1020A-1020B and 1040A-1040B each of which is correspondingly connected to each of the plurality of left indicator lamps 102A-102B and the plurality of right indicator lamps 104A-104B. The system 100 further includes a control unit 106, a sensing arrangement 108 and a turn indication switch 110.
[0010] The sensing arrangement 108, may be any one of a gyroscope, a circular disc sensor, a hall effect sensor, and a magnet sensor. The sensing arrangement 108 is placed on a chassis connector 202 (as displayed in Fig. 2). The chassis connector 202 links a front part of the vehicle 200 with the rear part. As displayed in Fig. 3A, the chassis connector 202 may further include a swing unit 302 on which is mounted the sensing arrangement 108. The swing unit 302 provides a free movement to the front part of the vehicle 200. The swing unit 302 is so configured that it moves with the front part of the vehicle 200 when the vehicle 200 bends to either direction while negotiating a curve on a road segment.
[0011] The sensing arrangement 108 mounted on the swing unit 302 checks for the angle of the swing unit 108. For. e.g. when after the vehicle 200 is about to negotiate a curve, the sensing arrangement 108 analyzes angle of deviation from a central “0” angle 304 that could be from position 304A in Fig. 3B and position 304B in Fig. 3C. In case the angle sensed by the sensing arrangement 108 with respect to the central “0” angle is more than a predetermined threshold, then in such a case, a respective indicator lamps are switched on by the control unit 106.
[0012] Moreover, although the present invention and its advantages have been described in detail, it should be understood that various changes, substitutions and alterations can be made herein without departing from the invention as defined by the appended claims. Moreover, the scope of the present application is not intended to be limited to the particular embodiments of the process, machine, manufacture, composition of matter, means, methods and steps described in the specification. As one will readily appreciate from the disclosure, processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps, presently existing or later to be developed that perform substantially the same function or achieve substantially the same result as the corresponding embodiments described herein may be utilized. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to include within their scope such processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps.
