Specification

The present disclosure is generally related to bending angle adjustment of a vehicle to control the swinging angle of a vehicle while negotiating a curve.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Three wheeled vehicles have an inherent balance problem. They are susceptible to be overturned when negotiating a curve at high speeds. This is because of the inappropriate centre of gravity position.
[0003] Therefore, there is a need for an effective way of providing proper centre of gravity positioning to such three wheeled vehicle while negotiating a curve.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses a system for dynamic adjusting of a swinging angle of a vehicle having a front independent chassis part and a rear independent chassis part, the system includes a casing having an upper-case cover and a lower-case cover to house, a swing shaft, configured to connect the front independent chassis part and the rear independent chassis part of the vehicle, a swing and lock unit, operably connected to the swing shaft, and configured to swing from side to side on a semi-rotational axis, a plurality of sensors, configured to determine an upcoming curve to be negotiated, and a plurality of dynamic swing adjusters, communicably connected to the plurality of sensors, wherein each of the plurality of dynamic swing adjusters is configured to be adjusted dynamically based on determination of the upcoming curve to be negotiated.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0004] The accompanying drawings illustrate various embodiments of systems, methods, and embodiments of various other aspects of the disclosure. Any person with ordinary skills in the art will appreciate that the illustrated element boundaries (e.g. boxes, groups of boxes, or other shapes) in the figures represent one example of the boundaries. It may be that in some examples one element may be designed as multiple elements or that multiple elements may be designed as one element. In some examples, an element shown as an internal component of one element may be implemented as an external component in another, and vice versa. Furthermore, elements may not be drawn to scale. Non-limiting and non-exhaustive descriptions are described with reference to the following drawings. The components in the figures are not necessarily to scale, emphasis instead being placed upon illustrating principles.
[0005] Fig. 1 illustrates an exploded view of a system 100, according to an embodiment of the invention;
[0006] Fig. 2 illustrates dynamic adjustment of a swing arrangement, according to an embodiment of the invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0007] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in which like numerals represent like elements throughout the several figures, and in which example embodiments are shown. Embodiments of the claims may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. The examples set forth herein are non-limiting examples and are merely examples among other possible examples.
[0008] Some embodiments of this invention, illustrating all its features, will now be discussed in detail. The words “comprising,” “having,” “containing,” and “including,” and other forms thereof, are intended to be equivalent in meaning and be open ended in that an item or items following any one of these words is not meant to be an exhaustive listing of such item or items, or meant to be limited to only the listed item or items.
[0009] It must also be noted that as used herein and in the appended claims, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” include plural references unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Although any systems and methods similar or equivalent to those described herein can be used in the practice or testing of embodiments of the present invention, the preferred, systems and methods are now described.
[0010] FIG. 1 illustrates an exploded view of a system 100, according to an embodiment of the invention. The system 100 includes a casing 102 with an upper case cover 102A and a lower case cover 102B. The system 100, further includes a swing shaft 104 that is operably connected to a swing and lock unit 106 through various connecting and joining elements like a first bearing 110 with a front rubber end sealing ring 108, a first support sleeve 112, through a guiding block 114, a second support sleeve 116, a second bearing 118 and a third support sleeve 120.
[0011] The system 100, may be placed on a vehicle 200 (as displayed in Fig. 2). The system 100 links a front part of the vehicle, with the rear part of the vehicle 200 through the swing shaft 104. The system 100, further includes a pair of swing degree stoppers 122 that help to limit a swing of the vehicle while negotiating curves on road segments. The system 100 further includes a pair of dynamic swing adjusters 124 that can be moved in and out using a swing sliding rod 126 through a controller 128 as shown in the figure. The controller 128 may be connected to a plurality of sensors (not shown in the figure) wherein the sensors may collect information about a curve to be negotiated by the vehicle, speed of the vehicle, and may then determine how much movement of the pair of dynamic swing adjusters 124 is required to safely negotiate the curve. The controller 128 may be a motor actuator with an onboard processor.
[0012] It is to be noted that the vehicle 200, that includes the system 100 is provided with a functionality to bend the front part due to a swinging movement to the front part of the vehicle 200. This is due to the configuration of the system 100 and movement of the swing and lock unit 106 while negotiating a curved segment of the road. The upwards movement of the pair of swing degree stoppers 122 restricts a swing angle of the swing and lock unit 106 and similarly, the downwards movement of the pair of swing degree stoppers 122 increases the swing angle of the swing and lock unit 106.
[0013] As displayed in Fig. 3, the swing and lock unit 106 may rotated to a right side or a left side while negotiating a right curve or a left curve that may move the swing and lock unit 106 from a central normal axis 302. As can be seen, that movement of the pair of dynamic swing adjusters 124 towards outside, in withdrawn configuration will help in increasing the rotation angle and vice versa based on the information conveyed by the sensors taking into account how much rotation has to be brought about for negotiating a curve.
[0014] Moreover, although the present invention and its advantages have been described in detail, it should be understood that various changes, substitutions and alterations can be made herein without departing from the invention as defined by the appended claims. Moreover, the scope of the present application is not intended to be limited to the particular embodiments of the process, machine, manufacture, composition of matter, means, methods and steps described in the specification. As one will readily appreciate from the disclosure, processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps, presently existing or later to be developed that perform substantially the same function or achieve substantially the same result as the corresponding embodiments described herein may be utilized. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to include within their scope such processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps.
