Abstract: “Vehicle Wheel with Safety Valve” is related to strategic positioning of safety valves for withstanding pressure variations and for achieving proper balance in truck wheels (8) and its method thereof. Present invention proposes the manufacturing of truck wheels with safety valves planted in the rim circumference. The said safety valve releases pressure during the raise of internal tire pressure (6) and act as a wheel balancer mass.
DESC:[013] The present invention relates to the manufacturing of vehicle wheels with one or more pressure relief valves, positioned on the rim at distinct places.
[014] The pressure relief valves predetermines the internal pressure of tires, whenever internal pressure exceeds a fixed value, the said pressure relief valves automatically releases the tire pressure and helps to decrease the tension, therefore minimizes the chance of bursting of tires. The sudden bursting of tires not only affects the truck owner but it may also lead toroad accidents.
[015] In the present invention of manufacturing process one or more pressure relief valves is positioned at any part of the rim between A & B as shown in the figure 1, the number of pressure relief valves may be varied according to the wheel weight balance needs and considering the type of load the vehicle to bear with.
[016] A pressure relief tire valve has a valve body having a chamber therein with a relief opening placed in a tire rim body. Apertures are made in the rims to organize passageway from tire towards the pressure releasing valve. The said pressure relief valves are located along the body of rim for releasing air from the tire when the air pressure in the tire exceeds a predetermined level. The safety valve has a valve seat and valve element based against the valve seat by a compression for maintaining the valve element in a closed position until a predetermined air pressure is reached in the tire and allows the valve element to open to release air through the valve body relief opening when the air pressure in the tire exceeds a predetermined pressure.
[017] In the present invention the pressure releasing valves also act as a balance weight to ensure equal distribution mass in the wheels that makes the tire to rotate evenly and according to the balancing needs the number of safety valves may be increased. The said pressure relief valve can be positioned anywhere in the wheel (throughout 360 degree within the point of A to B – as shown in figure1). In reflection of the wheel study, the pressure relief valves are placed (11) opposite to the inflation valve (10) to balance the weight. Here the number of pressure relief valves (11) can be increased based on the balancing requirement.
[018] The present invention will be best suited for the tire pressure ranging from 30PSI to 200 PSI (Particularly designed for truck wheel pressure range).
[019] Also truck wheels, starting the range of 6J x 16 to 15.00 x 22.5 ( sizes are 6J x 16 ,5.25 x 17.5,6.00 x 17.5,6.75 x 17.5,6.75 x 19.5,7.5 x 19.5,7.5 x 22.5,8.25 x 22.5,9.00 x 22.5,11.75 x 22.5,12.25 x 22.5,13.00x22.5,14.00x22.5 and 15.00 x 22.5) is best applicable for the implementation of present invention.

1. An automobile truck wheel (8) for a tubeless tire (5) with one or more pressure releasing valves positioned circumferentially across the wheel rim (1) with aperture towards tire (5) is designed to release the wheel pressure in the increase of internal tire pressure (6) and such placement of the said pressure releasing valve (11) acts as a wheel balancing mass consisting of,
a. Pressure releasing valve
b. Wheel rim (1)
2. The pressure release valve as claimed in claim 1, wherein plurality of pressure releasing valves (11) are placed opposite to the inflation valve (10).
3. The pressure release valve as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pressure releasing valves in the rim circumference are used as balance mass for balancing unbalanced vehicle wheels.
4. The pressure release valve as claimed in claim 1, wherein pluralities of apertures are made in the wheel rim to associate with internal tire pressure and pressure releasing valves.
5. The pressure release valve as claimed in above claims, wherein it suits with the types of tire pressure ranging from 30PSI to 200 PSI.
6. The pressure release valve as claimed in above claims, wherein it will be best suited withtruck wheels of sizes 6J x 16 ,5.25 x 17.5,6.00 x 17.5,6.75 x 17.5,6.75 x 19.5,7.5 x 19.5,7.5 x 22.5,8.25 x 22.5,9.00 x 22.5,11.75 x 22.5,12.25 x 22.5,13.00x22.5,14.00x22.5 and 15.00 x 22.5.
