An Adjustment Mechanism For A Transfer Switch

Abstract: Described herein, an adjustment mechanism for a transfer switch [100] employed for switching between one of a primary power supply position, a secondary power supply position, and an OFF position. The adjustment mechanism comprises: a link member [118], a crank-link member [120] and a toggle-spring arrangement [122], wherein the toggle spring arrangement includes a first spring toggle-spring end portion, and a second toggle-spring end portion [122b] pivotally supported therein, such that first spring toggle-spring end portion is in slidably attached to a second crank end portion [120b] of the crank-link member [120]; the second toggle-spring end portion [122b] being positioned in engagement with an engagement slot of a corresponding bus bar unit, such that the toggle-spring arrangement [122] is capable of switching between a first stable position and a second stable position, thereby locking the corresponding bus bar in one of a first configuration and a second configuration.
