Power Isolation Device Of Modular Vehicle

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system and device for isolating two distinct power 10 sources of a modular vehicle. The device 250 is configured to compute difference between a state value of a first power source 210 and a state value of a second power source 220 and based on the computed difference, operate a first switch 232 and a second switch 234 to isolate the second power source 220 from the first power source 210 when operating the modular vehicle in the multi-wheeler mode 212 such that the control unit 240 is 15 configured to supply power to the modular vehicle from at least one of the first power source 210 and the second power source 220. Further, the device 250 allows charging of the power source with higher voltage to charge the power source with lower voltage.
