Abstract: A lubrication system (100) for an internal combustion engine (1) is disclosed. The lubrication system (100) includes an oil gallery including a plurality of lubricant supply conduits defined in the internal combustion engine (1). The oil gallery includes a first passage (2) defined in the cylinder head (3) of the internal combustion engine (1). The oil gallery further includes one or more grooves (4) defined in a wall (5) of the first passage 10 (2). The one or more grooves (4) are configured to regulate flow of lubricant along the wall (5) of the first passage (2).
