DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to a welding demonstration table fitted with a hemispherical screen glass for a safe and effective demonstration of welding.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
[002] Welding Tables and Demonstrations for building welding tables are available in prior art, wherein slotted sheets are used for affixing the material for welding. However, in all welding exercises or demonstrations, the welder - demonstrator as well as others such as co-workers in close proximity or other instructors or welding students need to manually hold welding screens in front of their faces to reduce the amount of UV light that they are likely to be exposed as well as to protect themselves from the welding sparks. When a welding demonstration is done for students, all students need to hold the welding screens in a handheld position and crowd around, making the demonstration not clearly visible, and crowded.
[003] Therefore, there is a need for a safer, more efficient, and user-friendly platform for conducting welding demonstrations.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[004] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a welding demonstration table for the use by the instructors or demonstrators to enable students to view and learn the welding process demonstration without having to hand-hold the welding- screen in a smoother and easily visible group in proximity to the welding demonstrator.
[005] Another object of the present invention is to provide a welding demonstration table that allows for flexibility in accommodating various welding scenarios.
[006] In an aspect of the present invention, the welding demonstration table, comprising a welding table configured to accommodate a welding job,an adjustable vertical pole located at the center adjacent to the welding table,a hemispherical screen glass dome structure having a bottom structure positioned around the adjustable vertical pole, wherein the hemispherical screen glass dome structure is supported by the adjustable vertical pole.
[007] In an aspect of the present invention, the hemispherical screen glass dome structure is constructed of dark glass material similar to that used in handheld welder's screens.
[008] In an aspect of the present invention, the adjustable pole comprises a locking mechanism, allowing manual fixation of the hemispherical screen glass dome structure in a desired position, and wherein said locking mechanism ensures stability during welding demonstrations.
[009] In an aspect of the present invention, the hemispherical screen glass dome structure can be operated by an adjustable pole through one or a combination of electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic power.
[010] In an aspect of the present invention, the bottom support structure is made of metallic sheets.
[011] In an aspect of the present invention, a recording and display system, comprising cameras mounted on the welding demonstration table to capture and display the welding process in real-time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING:
[012] The invention has other advantages and features which will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description of the invention and the appended claims, when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 illustrates the welding demonstration table.

The person skilled in art may note that by no means the figures limit the scope of the invention. Any variation in the drawings by any other person will be falling in the scope of the present invention.
[014] Throughout the specification and claims, the following terms take the meanings explicitly associated herein unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. The meaning of "a", "an", and "the" include plural references. The meaning of "in" includes "in" and "on." Referring to the drawings, like numbers indicate like parts throughout the views. Additionally, a reference to the singular includes a reference to the plural unless otherwise stated or inconsistent with the disclosure herein.
[015] The present invention introduces a welding demonstration table designed to enhance safety, visibility, and versatility during welding demonstrations.
[016] Fig. 1 illustrates the welding demonstration table 10 comprises welding table 1, an adjustable vertical pole 3, a hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 having a bottom structure 5 positioned around the adjustable vertical pole 3.
[017] The welding demonstration table 10 includes a welding table 1 for accommodating welding jobs 2, an adjustable vertical pole 3 positioned at the center adjacent to the welding table 1, and a hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 with a bottom structure 5 surrounding the vertical pole 3. The hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 is supported by the adjustable vertical pole 3, eliminating the need for manual handheld welding screens.
[018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 is affixed and supported by an adjustable vertical pole 3. The hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 is made of dark glass similar to the screen used in hand-held welder’s screen glass. The hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 fixed to the adjustable vertical pole 3 can be moved, rotated to any angle or direction, and locked depending on the welding table 1 and the welding instructor's location and direction. The placement of the hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 is presently designed to be fixed in the desired position around to adjustable vertical pole 3 using a manual locking mechanism.
[019] In an embodiment of the invention, the hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 is operated through a manual mechanism by adjustable vertical pole 3 which can also be moved by power mechanisms such as rack and pinion, hydraulic movements, suspension of the hemisphere from the welding or a robotic arm which can be easily moved to the desired position in real-time as the welding is in progress. The recording and display system comprises high-speed, high-resolution cameras that can be safely mounted on the welding demonstration table 10 to record or display the welding to the students in real-time or online or recorded for replay whenever required. The size of the hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 can be increased to accommodate more learners or students.
[020] In another embodiment, the hemispherical screen glass dome structure 4 can be operated by an adjustable pole 3 through one or a combination of electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic power.
[021] Although a particular exemplary embodiment of the invention has been disclosed in detail for illustrative purposes, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that variations or modifications of the disclosed invention, including the rearrangement in the configurations of the parts, changes in steps and their sequences may be possible. Accordingly, the invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations as may fall within the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[022] The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching.
