“A VEHICLE”
HERO MOTOCORP LIMITED, an Indian Company at: The Grand Plaza, Plot No.2, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj- Phase -II, New Delhi, India, 110 070
THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBES THE INVENTION AND THE MANNER IN WHICH IT IS TO BE PERFORMED.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to a storage compartment in a vehicle. In particular, to a storage compartment positioned in a space formed between base portion of seat and battery of the vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
[002] A vehicle comprises multiple vehicular parts that work in combination with each other for smooth operation of the vehicle. These vehicular parts are arranged at a predefined position of the vehicle taking stability of the vehicle in running or static state in consideration. Due to large number of vehicular parts used and variation in shape and size of the vehicular part, there is a formation of unutilised spaces at numerous locations of the vehicle between two or more than two vehicular parts.
[003] Formation of the unutilised spaces in between the vehicular parts affects the vehicle in many ways. For example, due to these unutilised spaces the overall size of the vehicle gets increased above an optimum value that in turn lead to lowering of vehicular performance. Generally, the vehicular parts are arranged in a compact manner so as to keep the size of the vehicle below the optimum value. In spite of arranging the vehicular parts in a compact manner there still exist unutilised spaces inside a vehicle.
[004] Apart from the vehicular parts, there is also a requirement of providing storage compartments in the vehicle for storing accessories. Conventionally, the storage compartment is positioned in a particular vehicular space other than the unutilised spaces. Designating particular space for the storage compartment also increases overall size of the vehicle that affects performance of the vehicle. Thus, there exists a need to address one or more of the aforesaid problems.
