Abstract: Present disclosure discloses a battery compartment (10) of a vehicle (100). The battery compartment (10) includes a housing (12), disposable on a body frame (101) 5 of the vehicle (100), at least one cover member (20) connectable to at least a portion of the housing (12). The at least one cover member (20) is defined with a first portion (20a) and a second portion (20b). The second portion (20b) is selectively pivotable relative to the first portion (20a) and configured to be operable in a closed position (CP) and an open position (OP). The at least one cover member (20) in the 10 open position (OP) is configured to allow access to the at least portion of the battery compartment (10).
