A Deformity Detection System And A Method For Detecting Fabric Deformities And Management Thereof

Abstract: The present invention relates to a deformity detection system (4) and a method for detecting the deformities (2) in online web materials and managing them on the web-processing lines. Such web processing line along with deformity detection system may comprise of data transmission (5) to cloud (3) which may include intranet, wifi, or can be any means of online data transfer and a processing line’s control unit (10) includes human machine interface HMI , display screens, control boxes. The system (4) has system has a camera module interface (7) for capturing images; a processing unit (8) to detect deformities; an interface for cloud (3) for storing the deformities data; and an external unit interface (13) to accommodate external GPU accelerators for enhanced image processing speed and to facilitate seamless information exchange between said camera module interface (7), said processing unit (8) and said interface for cloud (3).
