Abstract: The present invention provides a variable current transmission (VCT) circuit for adjusting the lumen output of a light emitting diode (LED). The VCT circuit enables a user to adjust the lumen output of any LED driver. The VCT circuit is installed inside the metal housing of the LED driver; however, a rotary knob configured to adjust the lumen output of an LED load is situated outside the metal housing of the LED driver. The VCT circuit is configured to set variable output current for the LED driver. In addition, the VCT circuit is configured to perform output current deregulation and input power deregulation at low input voltage. FIG. 1
