Electric Fuel Tank Cap Lock Device For Vehicle

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fuel cap assembly. The assembly comprises a frame mounted to an opening of a fuel tank of a vehicle and a lid is pivotally coupled to the frame to be displaced between an open condition and a closed condition. A flap is coupled to the lid to move between an operated and a unoperated condition. A locking mechanism is coupled the lid comprising a first member and a second member to cooperate with the flap. The first member and the second member traverses between a first position and a second position to selectively lock and unlock the lid and an actuator having an actuator plunger selectively engages and disengages with a cavity of the second member to lock and unlock the second member for displacing the lid between the open condition and the closed condition, respectively.
