A Switch Device Of A Vehicle

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a switch device (500) for a vehicle. The device (500) includes a housing (1), a lock barrel (20), a cam (120) and a carrier assembly (260) in engagement with the cam (120). The carrier assembly is linearly displaceable in response to the rotation of the cam (120) from a first position to a second position. The carrier assembly (260) includes one or more moving contacts (200) slidably coupled to the carrier (160) and configured to linearly displace corresponding to the displacement of the carrier (160) in response to the displacement of the cam (120) from a first position to a second position for selectively engagement of the moving contacts (200) with the fixed contacts (210). The configuration of the device (500) reduces wear and tear of the moving contacts (200) and fixed contacts (210) and provides smooth functioning of the different switching operations. [Figure 1]
