A Method Of Controlling Speed Of A Vehicle And A System Thereof
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method (300) and system (200) for controlling speed of a vehicle. The system (200) comprising a plurality of sensors (204-208) configured to sense a plurality of vehicle data. A controller (201) of the vehicle (100) coupled to the plurality of sensors (204-208) and to a control unit (20) of a e latch (19). The controller (201) configured to, upon detecting an engine of the vehicle switched from an OFF state to an ON state; switches the latch (19) in an ON state. The latch (19) in an ON state adapted to limit the speed of the vehicle (100) less than or equal to a first speed threshold; receives and monitors the one or more vehicle data on receiving the one or more vehicle data and determines if the vehicle (100) is in a safe state or an unsafe state and switches the latch (19) in an OFF state if the vehicle (100) is determined to be in the safe state, wherein the latch (19) is switched to OFF state before the vehicle reaches the first speed threshold.
