A Cell For A Metal Air Battery And The Metal Air Batery Thereof

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cell (1) for a metal air battery (100). The cell (1) includes an anode housing (9) defined by a first end (9b) and a second end (9a). An inlet (2) is defined proximal to the first end (9b) and an outlet (3) defined proximal to the second end (9a). The cell (1) also includes anode (10) accommodated in the anode housing (9). A cathode (7) is coupled to the anode housing (9) and is positioned adjacent to the anode (10). A flow path (11) is defined between the anode (10) and the cathode (7). Furthermore, a flow distributor (12) is defined with a predefined profile and is positioned in an inlet section (2a) defined between the inlet (2) and flow path (11) of the anode housing (9). The flow distributor (12) channelizes the flow of the electrolyte into the flow path (11). Figure 1 is the representative figure.
