A Heating Module In A Laundry Treating Machine

Abstract: Described herein is a heating module [102] and a method [200] for energizing and de-energizing the heating module [102] in a laundry treating machine [100]. The laundry treating machine [100] comprising a tub unit [110] and a control unit [not shown]. The tub unit [110] comprises a rotating tub [114] and a stationary tub [112] adapted to house thereof. The heating module [102] comprises a plurality of electromagnetic coils [103] installed vertically on an outer circumference of the stationary tub [112] facing the rotating tub [114], capable of selectively heating a portion thereof. The control unit [not shown] senses a load carried by the tub unit [110] and classifies the load as a low, medium and high load condition. The control unit [not shown] comprises a controller [not shown] adapted to energize and de-energize one or more of the plurality of electromagnetic coils [103] based on the load condition.
