Outdoor Unit For A Refrigeration Apparatus
Abstract: The present invention relates to an outdoor unit for a refrigeration apparatus, comprising a casing for accommodating at least a compressor. The casing includes a cover plate (100) which covers a top of the casing. The cover plate (100) comprises an embossed projection (104) on an upper surface (102) thereof. The embossed projection (104) comprises at least one longitudinally embossed portion (202) extending in a longitudinal direction of the cover plate (100), and a plurality of curved-embossed portions (206, 208) positioned in vicinity of the at least one longitudinally embossed portion (202), the plurality of curved-embossed portions (206, 208) forming a curved profile in a lateral direction of the cover plate (100) with respect to the at least one longitudinally embossed portion (202). The embossed projection (104) improves strength characteristics of the cover plate (100).
