A Push Type Padlock Mechanism For A Direct Handle Arrangement Of A Circuit Breaker System

Abstract: Described herein is a direct handle arrangement [300] for an actuating system [104] of a circuit breaker system [100], for adjusting a circuit breaker [102] deployed in the circuit breaker system [100] among an ON position, an OFF position, a TRIP position, and a RESET position. The direct handle arrangement [300] comprises a stationary handle assembly [304] fixedly attached to a gearbox arrangement [200] of the actuating system [104], and a rotary handle assembly [302] rotatably mounted on the stationary handle assembly [304], for adjustment of the circuit breaker [102] among the ON position, the OFF position, the TRIP position, and the RESET position. Notably, the rotary handle assembly [302] of the direct handle arrangement [300] includes a push-type padlock mechanism [310] for locking/unlocking of the direct handle arrangement [300] with the gearbox arrangement [200] of the circuit breaker system [100].
