A Misalignment Coupling Mechanism For A Connecting Shaft Arrangement Of An Actuating System

Abstract: Described herein is a misalignment coupling mechanism [406] for a connecting shaft arrangement [400] of an actuating system [106]. The misalignment coupling mechanism [406] comprises a first connection member [410], a second connection member [420], and intermediate connection member [430]. Each of the first connection member [410] and the second connection member [420] is adapted to be resiliently connected to either side of the intermediate connection member [430], by means of a first connection arrangement [417] and a second connection arrangement [427], respectively. With such an arrangement, the misalignment coupling mechanism enables a misalignment adjustment of the first and the second connection members [410, 420] relative to the intermediate connection member [430], in at least two axes perpendicular to each other.
