A Dispensing System And A Method For Dispensing Detergent In A Washing Machine

Abstract: Present disclosure provides a dispensing system for a washing machine comprising: a mixing chamber which has an upper part and a lower part. The upper chamber has a water inlet for dispensing water, a liquid detergent inlet formed as a recess within housing of mixing chamber. It also has a first compartment to receive a first portion of dispensed water from the water inlet and connected to the liquid detergent inlet to receive the liquid detergent and a second compartment to receive a second portion of dispensed water from the water inlet and defining a reservoir for powder detergent. The lower part comprising a first outlet to vent a flow of the liquid detergent with water and a second outlet to vent a flow of the power detergent with water and an automatic detergent dispensing system for dispensing the liquid detergent from a liquid detergent storage chamber to the mixing chamber.
