Fuel Tank Cap

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a cap (100) for a fuel tank (200). the cap (100) includes a stator (20) defined with a central portion (22) and a rim (62) extending along a circumference of the stator (20). The rim (62) is defined with a plurality of protrusions (61) extending from an inner surface of the rim (62). Further, a guide cup (70) envelopes the central portion (22) of the stator (20). A sealing member (50) envelopes the guide cup (70) and positioned proximal to the rim (62). Further, a retainer ring (60) disposed between the rim (62) and the sealing member (50) is defined with a projection (63) extending along a circumference of the retainer ring (60). The projection (63) engages with the plurality of protrusions (61) to abut and retain the sealing member (50) against the guide cup (70).
