Abstract: The invention relates to a method for predicting at least one set of current pixels (Bc), implemented by a prediction device, in which at least one set of current pixels (Bc) is predicted on the basis of at least one set of reference pixels (BR0; BR0, BR1), with the assistance of a pixel prediction weighting function, characterised in that the pixel prediction weighting function of the at least one set of current pixels (Bc) is associated with at least one weighting value (P2-P3) calculated on the basis of an analysis (P1) of at least one set of reference pixels (BR0; BR0, BR1).
