Abstract: A rotor (10) for a rotary electric machine is described, the rotor (10) comprising a support disc (14) having opposing first and second faces, a support member (20), and a plurality of permanent magnets (22) mounted to and retained by the support member, wherein the support member is secured to the first face of the support disc (14).
