Abstract: ABSTRACT DRIVING MECHANISM FOR FOOD GRINDER The present invention relates to driving arrangement for driving the grinding vessel and rolling stones of a wet grinder. Said drive mechanism 5 comprises a sun and planetary gear box arrangement (11), said gear box arrangement consists of an outer ring gear (21) and an inner sun and planetary gear assembly (31). In the driving mechanism (11), the inner gear (24) of the Ring gear (21) is engaged with multiple stepped gears (32a, 32b, 32c). The sun gear (34) is engaged with the stepped gears 10 (33a, 33b, 33c). Rotation of the Ring gear (21) by the drive means causes the stepped gears (32a, 32b, 32c) to rotate, subsequently driving the sun gear (34) via the stepped gears (33a, 33b, 33c). Consequently, rotation of the sun gear (34) drives the roller drive shaft (41), resulting in opposite rotation of the roller stones when the base stone is rotated in one 15 direction.
