Abstract: An alerting and alarming device using washable and reusable sensors (100) is disclosed. The an alerting and alarming device (100) includes a bed (102) to which the washable and reusable sensors (104) are attached and an IOT device with speaker. The washable and reusable sensors (104) detects if a person who is sleeping on the bed (102) attached with the washable and reusable sensors (104) has wetted the bed (100), if the person has wet the bed (102) then the IOT device with speaker (106) communications and sends alert messages to designated person and the speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person. The washable and reusable sensors (104) are connected to the IOT device with speaker (106) through detachable connector which reads a data from the washable and reusable sensors (104). FIGS. 1-2

[0001] The embodiments herein generally relate to altering and alarming device, more particularly to an alerting and alarming device using washable and reusable sensors.
Description of the Related Art
[0002] Existing wetness altering device is a sensor with a flex Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The flex PCB is a predesigned arrangement of components. The existing wetness altering device includes an alarming unit and a sensor cord. The sensor cord is clipped at an outer area of an underwear or diaper and once the liquid starts reaching the outer area of the underwear or diaper the chord senses the wetness and sends a signal to the alarming unit to ring for alerting the wetness. The existing wetness altering device does not have speakers for audio announcement of a status of sensors. Further the existing device does not announce when a person has wet a bed nor the device alerts if the person got up at night and not returned to the bed within a predefined time.
[0003] Accordingly, there remains a need for an alerting and alarming device using washable and reusable sensors.
SUMMARY
[0004] Accordingly, the embodiments herein provide an alerting and alarming device using a washable and reusable sensors includes a bed that is configured with the washable and reusable sensors and an IOT device with speaker that is configured to the washable and reusable sensors. The washable and reusable sensors and the IOT device with speaker is configured to detect if a person has wet or spoiled liquid on the bed. If the person has wet the bed or has spoiled liquid on the bed, then the IOT device with speaker communications and sends alert messages to designated person and a speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person. Detect if the person is out of the bed, if the person is out of the bed, then perform at least one of: checking if the person has returned to bed or not within a predefined time. If the person has not returned to the bed within the predefined time then, sending a message to designated persons for attending the person and alarming and alerting surrounding person for immediate attention through speaker.

If the person is out of the bed, then performing, by the alerting and alarming device at least one of: checking if the person has returned to bed or not within a predefined time, if the person has not returned to the bed within the predefined time then, sending a message to designated persons for attending the person and alarming and alerting surrounding person for immediate attention through speaker.

The embodiments herein achieved this by using an Internet Of Things (IOT) speaker which announces a status of a washable and reusable sensors. The IOT speaker further announces when a person has wet a bed nor the device alerts if the person got up at night and not returned to the bed within a predefined time. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to FIGS. 1 to 2 where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown preferred embodiments.

The block diagram 100 includes a bed 102 to which the washable and reusable sensors 104 are attached and an IOT device with speaker. The washable and reusable sensors 104 detects if a person who is sleeping on the bed 102 attached with the washable and reusable sensors 104 has wetted the bed 100, if the person has wet the bed 102 then the IOT device with speaker 106 communications and sends alert messages to designated person and the speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person. In some embodiments, the person maybe a patient, elderly person, child, infant, and the like.

The alert and alarm controller detects if the person is out of the bed 102 and sends alert to the designated person. If the person has wet the bed or has spoiled liquid on the bed, then the alert and alarm controller communicates and sends alert messages to designated person and the speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person.

The communicator is configured for communicating internally between internal hardware components and with external devices via one or more networks. The memory also stores instructions to be executed by the processor. The memory may include non-volatile storage elements. detect if a person has wet or spoiled liquid on the bed (102), wherein if the person has wet the bed or has spoiled liquid on the bed, then the IOT device with speaker (106) communications and sends alert messages to designated person and a speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person;
detect if the person is out of the bed (102), wherein if the person is out of the bed (102), then
perform at least one of:
checking if the person has returned to bed (102) or not within a predefined time, wherein if the person has not returned to the bed (102) within the predefined time then,
sending a message to designated persons for attending the person;
alarming and alerting surrounding person for immediate attention through speaker.
2. The device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the IOT device with speaker (106) comprises a memory, a processor, a alert and alarm controller.
3. The device (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the alert and alarm controller detects if the person is out of the bed (102) and sends alert to the designated person.

The device (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the alert and alarm controller detects if the person has wet or spoiled liquid on the bed (102), wherein if the person has wet the bed or has spoiled liquid on the bed, then the alert and alarm controller communicates and sends alert messages to designated person and the speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person.
5. A method of alerting and alarming a designated person using an alerting and alarming device (100), the method comprising:
detecting, by the alerting and alarming device (100), if a person has wet or spoiled liquid on the bed (102), wherein if the person has wet the bed or has spoiled liquid on the bed, then the IOT device with speaker (106) communications and sends alert messages to designated person and a speaker announces that the person has wet the bed for immediate attention of a nurse to assist the person;
detecting, by the alerting and alarming device (100), if the person is out of the bed (102), wherein if the person is out of the bed (102), then
performing, by the alerting and alarming device (100) at least one of:
checking if the person has returned to bed (102) or not within a predefined time, wherein if the person has not returned to the bed (102) within the predefined time then,
sending a message to designated persons for attending the person;
alarming and alerting surrounding person for immediate attention through speaker.
