Conductor Assembly Stator For Permanent Magnet Energy Conversion Device

Abstract: ABSTRACT CONDUCTOR ASSEMBLY STATOR FOR PERMANENT MAGNET ENERGY CONVERSION DEVICE The present specification addresses all the prior art limitations of the prior art stator design and manufacturing used in energy conversion devices in 5 general and the integrated starter generator in particular. A stator winding assembly of a Energy Conversion Device comprising of an Electrically Connected bar winding stator assembly constructed with a rivetted stator lamination set cut cross section forming multiple stator poles wherein the stator cut cross section with pole length is dimensioned accommodate 10 multiple turns of the stator winding assembly. The interpole slot entry between adjacent poles is kept small. A set of winding turns is placed along the pole length of the slot wherein the winding turn placed at the bottom part of the stator slot has a different width alignment or geometry but with same cross section area as all the winding turn so as to accommodate the 15 smaller width of the pole slot towards the geometrical center of the stator assembly. The winding is formed by placing multiple bare copper or electrical conductor single bar winding turns sequentially in the pole slot and electrically connecting the ends of the sequential turns to one another. The interturn insulation is formed with insulation separators or formers or 20 in-situ resin casting.
