Energy Absorption Barrier
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relates to an energy absorption barrier (100) for an automobile. The barrier (100) comprises a U-shaped beam channel (1) having concave edges, a back plate (2) affixed to at least partly cover the concave edges, a plurality of mounting plates (3) for fastening the backing plate (2) on to the automobile, and epoxy foam (5), wherein the epoxy foam (5) is filled on the concave edges such that the epoxy foam (5) is superimposed by the mounting plates (3).
