Specification

Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to the field of e-commerce. More particularly, the present invention relates to the product review system on e-commerce platform providing users with in-person product demonstration.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[002] Conventional product review systems on e-commerce platforms allow customers/users to view product reviews prior to buy a product. Users may be able to provide their own reviews and view others' reviews and ratings regarding a product of interest. Users can also search or filter through the reviews to identify a review that may be more relevant to them than others. For example, the user may filter based on demographic or geographic information. In general, the more knowledgeable a reviewer is about a product and a user, the more helpful the reviewer's review on the product is likely to be to the user.

[003] E-commerce suffers from the lack of tangible product experiences, leading to reduced consumer trust, especially for high-value items. The US patent US9899063B2 entitled “System and methods for providing user generated video reviews” discloses a system for controlling playback of video files providing user generated or produced video reviews of products and/or services. The cited prior art fails to disclose real-time based demonstration of the product by the person who already purchased that product.

[004] Therefore, keeping in view the problem associated with the state of the art there is a need for several innovative product review system on e-commerce platform which allow user-to-product physical interaction by leveraging previous product buyers. Further, the proposed solution allows users to visit nearby locations, such as homes or offices of previous product buyers enrolled in display-my-product program, to experience the desired product firsthand and alleviate reservations about online purchases.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[005] A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a product review system on an e-commerce platform facilitating user a complimentary in-person demonstration of a product.

[006] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a product review system on e-commerce platform a live in-person demonstration of the product from the previous users who have already bought the product.

[007] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a product review system on an e-commerce platform which allow user to experience the desired product firsthand and alleviate reservations about online purchases.

[008] Yet another objection of the present invention is to provide a product review system on an e-commerce platform, wherein the demonstrators earn royalty/ coupons for each successful demonstration given to the user.

[009] Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The present application discloses a system and related methods that provides a product review system based on user-to-product physical interaction by leveraging previous product buyers. Users may be able to visit nearby location of the previous product buyer of his choice, which are enrolled in the display-my product program to experience the desired product firsthand and alleviate reservations about online purchases.

[0011] The system and related methods disclosed herein may provide users with various benefits. First, the user may receive live reviews by taking demonstration of the product from the previous buyer of the same product or even similar product (which may vary in color, capacity or size) by visiting his location. For example, the system provides users with the ability to efficiently search, sort, filter demonstrators based on the location and basis (name, gender and picture) of the demonstrators and the photos, videos posted by him of the purchased product, total successful demonstrations completed, date of product purchased, rating of the demo given by the previous demonstration takers, acceptance rate , acceptance delay average on the platform. Additionally, by leveraging the previous product buyer to provide demo, and review of the purchased product in live to the user may receive faster response to review requests. For example, the system may enable a user's requests for product reviews/demonstration to be sent out in real time to demonstrator enrolled in display-my product program and connected to the user through e-commerce platform. Furthermore, the system and related methods may enable better socialization and shopping experience compared to traditional product review systems and e-commerce platforms. Users on the system may easily form connections with demonstrator, and the system may be configured to automatically suggest demonstrator to the users based on nearby locations, which can further improve their reachability.
