Passkey Sign In For An Application On A Device

Abstract: ABSTRACT PASSKEY SIGN-IN FOR AN APPLICATION ON A DEVICE Disclosed herein is a method for passkey sign-in for an application on a device. The method comprises receiving sign-in requests for the application and transmitting a sign-in notification to a registered remote device requesting biometric information of a user. Further the method comprises receiving an encrypted biometric information of the user over a wireless network and decrypting the encrypted biometric information using a private key of the device. The method then comprises matching the decrypted biometric information with prestored biometric information stored in memory against the passkey or password of the application and providing access to the application based on a successful match of the decrypted biometric information.
