Abstract: Described herein is an evaporator unit [100] for a refrigerator (not shown) comprising at least one evaporator coil [102] including a plurality of crossflow tube arrangements [104]. Each of the plurality of crossflow tube arrangements [104] define an inlet tube portion [106], an outlet tube portion [108] and at least three intermediate tube portions [116] therebetween. At least a portion of the at least three intermediate tube portions [116] converge and diverge into a pair of double diamond shape crossflow structure [122], thereby allowing a uniform flow of refrigerant in each of the at least three intermediate tube portions [116], to provide a substantially uniform flow of refrigerant throughout the evaporator unit [100].
