A Metal Air Cell

Abstract: The present invention relates to a metal-air cell (100). The metal-air cell includes a cylindrical body (102), a cathode (104) housed within the cylindrical body and an anode holder (108) mounted circumferentially outwards from the cathode. Further, the anode holder (108) includes an inner surface (108a) defined with at least one slot (109) extending in a longitudinal axis (X-X) and an outer surface (108b) defined with plurality of twister blades (112) configured to direct air towards the cathode. Further, the metal-air cell includes an anode (106) disposable in the at least one slot (109). Further, the anode holder (108) and the anode (106) are structured to be rotatable relative to the cathode. Furthermore, an electrolyte disposed between the cathode and the anode. During the rotation of the anode (106) relative to the cathode, the electrolyte is configured to scrape passive hydroxide layer formed on a surface of the anode. FIG. 1 is the representation figure.
