A Footrest Of A Vehicle

Abstract: A footrest (200) of a vehicle (100) is disclosed. The footrest (200) comprising a plastic portion 5 (210) and a metallic portion (220). The metallic portion (220) being insert molded inside the plastic portion (210). The metallic portion (220) provides strength to the footrest (200) and the plastic portion (210) maintains the light weightness in the footrest (200). The hybrid configuration of using both polymeric based plastic portion (210) and metal based metallic portion (220) allows the footrest (200) to withstand loads and bending induced in the footrest 10 (200) during its operation.
