A Protection Structure Of A Vehicle

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a bracket (10) for covering/protecting a sensor of a vehicle. The bracket (10) has a body (12). The bracket (10) includes a first arm (14) and a second arm (16) . The second arm (16) is bent relative to the body (12) of the bracket (10). Further, the bracket (10) includes a bead (20) defined along a periphery (21) of the bracket (10). At least a portion of the bead (20) positioned proximal to the periphery (21) of the bracket (10) and at least a portion of the bead (20) is positioned adjacent to a first mounting portion (18a) of the bracket (10). A cutout (22) is defined within the portion of the bead (20) positioned adjacent to the first mounting portion (18a) of the bracket (10). The bracket (10) protects the sensor (10) from impact damage or from being destroyed during the vehicle collision. [Figure 3]
