A Steering System For A Vehicle

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a steering system (200) for a vehicle (100). The steering system (200) comprises a steering stem (202) disposed in a body frame (106) of the vehicle (100). The steering stem having a first end (202b) and a second end (202c). The steering system comprises a handlebar (204) comprises a handlebar mounting portion (204c) to removably connect handlebar (204) with the second end (202c) of steering stem (202). The system includes a fastener (208) adapted to pass through a first hole (204a) defined in the handlebar mounting portion (204c) and adapted to be received in a second hole (202a) defined in steering stem (202) in sequence. The steering system includes an at least one pair of lock washers (210) disposed between the handlebar mounting portion (204c) and a head (208a) of the fastener (208) to facilitate mounting of the handlebar (204) to steering stem.
