A Molded Case Circuit Breaker (Mccb) And An Arrangement Thereof

Abstract: Described herein is a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100], comprising: a plurality of pole assemblies [102], each comprising a casing unit [116] defining a guide-slot [116h]; an actuator assembly [112] installed atop one of the plurality of pole assemblies [102], such that the guide-slot [116h] of the other of the plurality of pole assemblies [102] adjacent thereto are positioned proximal to the actuator assembly [112]; and a primary tripping accessory [146] defining a first portion [150] and a second portion [148]. Notably, the first portion [150] is adapted to slidably engage with the guide-slot [116h], to be fittingly installed atop one of the plurality of pole assemblies [102], while the second portion [148] is adapted to engage with a pair of fastening members [152] extending through at least a portion of a mid-cover assembly [106] of the MCCB [100], to be fittingly installed relative thereto, thereby facilitating an overall rigid mounting of the primary tripping accessory [146] within the MCCB [100].
