Operating Mechanism For Actuator Assembly Of Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (Mccb)

Abstract: Described herein is actuator assembly [112] for MCCB [100]. Actuator assembly [112] comprising pair of side frame members [118a, 118b], fork lever member [116] pivotally installed onto thereof. Fork lever member [116] defining at least two extension plate portions [116b]. Operating mechanism [114] is installed between pair of side frame members [118a, 118b], and thereof is resiliently connected to fork lever member [116], to be manipulated amongst at least ON, OFF, TRIP and RESET position. Pin member [128] is disposed between at least two extension plate portions [116b], wherein pin member [128] being adapted to engage with at least portion of operating mechanism [114], in the event of jamming of rotary contact unit of MCCB [100], thereby providing additional torque to operating mechanism [114] to be adjusted from one of the OFF position or the RESET position to ON position.
