Abstract: ABSTRACT To prevent air suction force generated at one opening from affecting the other opening, a textile machine includes an upper yarn sucking and catching guide mechanism, a cleaning pipe, a suction source, and a shutter device 29. The shutter device 29 includes a base member 29a having a first opening 291 and a second opening 292, a shutter member 29c that closes the first opening 291 or the second opening 292, and a cover member 29b including a first space forming part 301 that forms a first space connected to the suction source via the first opening 291, and has a third opening 303, and a second space forming part 302 that forms a second space S2 connected to the suction source via the second opening 292, and has a fourth opening 304. The first space and the second space S2 are separately disposed. A seal member 29d is disposed in gaps formed at a first boundary part between the first space and external space S2, and at a second boundary part between the second space S2 and external space.
