Spinning Machine

Abstract: A spinning machine (1) includes a drafting apparatus (5), a spinning apparatus (6), a winding apparatus (9), and a catching apparatus (32). The catching apparatus (32) performs a catching operation of catching the yarn (15) fed from the spinning apparatus (6) and moving to a target position. The drafting apparatus (5) includes a front roller (51). When starting the winding operation, while the front roller (51) rotates at a first speed, the catching apparatus (32) starts the catching operation to catch the yarn (15) produced by the spinning apparatus (6) performing yarn discharge spinning. The front roller (51) starts to accelerate after the catching apparatus (32) starts the catching operation and before the catching apparatus (32) reaches the target position.
