Spinning Machine

Abstract: A spinning machine includes a drafting apparatus (5), an air spinning apparatus (6), and a winding apparatus (9). The drafting apparatus (5) drafts a fiber bundle (10). The air spinning apparatus (6) performs a spinning operation to form a yarn (15). The winding apparatus (9) winds the yarn (15) to form a package (18). The drafting apparatus (5) includes a first draft roller (51) and a second draft roller (52). When the fiber bundle (10) or the yarn (15) is to be cut, rotation of the second draft roller (52) is stopped. The air spinning apparatus (6) continues forming the yarn (15) until an end of the fiber bundle (10) that has been formed between the first draft roller (51) and the second draft roller (52) accompanying stop of the rotation of the second draft roller (52) passes through the air spinning apparatus (6).
