Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an effective mechanism for handling the panel-related information. In this solution, the terminal device transmits a correspondence report to a network device, where the correspondence report indicates a first correspondence between at least one first capability value set and at least one first RS. The terminal device further communicates with the network device according to a feedback state of the correspondence report, where the feedback state is an ACK or a NACK. In this way, the misalignment between the network device and the terminal device is avoided.
