Abstract: A path switch method and apparatus. The method is used for a second terminal device. The method comprises: receiving an RRC reconfiguration complete message of a first terminal device; initiating an RRC connection establishment process or an RRC resume process; and sending indication information to the first terminal device when the RRC connection establishment process or the RRC resume process fails or succeeds.
