Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING REGENERATION ENERGY TO LOAD SYSTEMS IN A VEHICLE Disclosed herein is a method and system for providing regeneration energy to one or more load systems in vehicle. The method comprises receiving one or more load requests from one or more load systems and assigning priority to one or more load requests based on amount of energy required for operating respective load system, type of load request, and system preference. The method then comprises receiving plurality of sensor data from plurality of sensors associated with vehicle and predicting one or more regeneration events and corresponding one or more regeneration window at least based on plurality of sensor data. Finally, method comprises scheduling one or more load requests from one or more load systems in one or more regeneration window at least based on assigned priority. Thus, the method facilitates efficient utilization of the regeneration energy generated during regeneration event in electric vehicles.
CLAIMS
1. A method of providing regeneration energy to one or more load systems in a vehicle,
the method comprising:
receiving one or more load requests from one or more load systems, wherein
each load request comprises an amount of energy required for operating a load system,
a type of load request, and an operational time duration of the load system;
assigning a priority to the one or more load requests based on the amount of
energy required for operating the respective load system, the type of load request, and
system preference;
receiving a plurality of sensor data from a plurality of sensors associated with
the vehicle;
predicting one or more regeneration events and corresponding one or more
regeneration window at least based on the plurality of sensor data; and
scheduling one or more load requests from the one or more load systems in the
one or more regeneration window at least based on the assigned priority.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein scheduling one or more load requests from
one or more load systems in the one or more regeneration window of one or more regeneration
event comprises:
providing regeneration energy to the one or more load systems during the one or
more regeneration window of the one or more regeneration events.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of sensors at least comprises
camera sensor, lidar sensor, radar sensor, and GIS sensor and v2x communication sensor.
4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein predicting the one or more regeneration
events and corresponding one or more regeneration window further comprises:
estimating instantaneous mass of the vehicle at least based on the total weight of the
vehicle and terrain on which the vehicle is driven; and
determining regeneration energy of each regeneration event based on the estimated
instantaneous mass of the vehicle and speed of the vehicle.
